A prospective, two-centre randomized controlled trial led by Prof. Bodong Lü's team at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine, together with Pinghu First People's Hospital, compared WBL LIPUS with tamsulosin sustained-release capsules in type IIIb chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome (CP/CPPS). After 4 weeks, core symptoms improved significantly in both groups, with a significantly greater reduction in pelvic pain in the LIPUS group. The paper was published in Frontiers in Reproductive Health.
