Two annual conferences of the Chinese Non-Government Medical Institutions Association and the Jiangsu Social-Run Medical Institutions Association held concurrently
In golden October, minds converge in Jinling. From October 17–18, 2026, the 2026 Annual Academic Conference of the Andrology and Men's Health Committee of the Chinese Non-Government Medical Institutions Association, together with the Third Plenary Session of the Second Committee, and the Second Annual Academic Conference of the Men's Health Committee of the Jiangsu Social-Run Medical Institutions Association, will be held concurrently at the Taikang Xianlin Drum Tower Hospital in Nanjing.
Centered on the key tasks of the "15th Five-Year Plan" in healthcare, the conference focuses on the standardized and professional development of andrology and men's health disciplines in non-government medical institutions nationwide, actively explores a new model of integrated development of "andrology + academia + industry", and will also hold a series of events marking the 10th anniversary of the Committee.

Lecture title: "Preliminary Exploration of LIPUS Combined with Shugan Fuyang Yiwei Plaster in the Treatment of Mild-to-Moderate Erectile Dysfunction of Liver Qi Stagnation Type"
From an integrated Chinese-Western medicine perspective, this lecture will discuss the clinical characteristics of mild-to-moderate erectile dysfunction of liver qi stagnation type and share preliminary explorations of WBL LIPUS low-intensity pulsed ultrasound combined with external traditional Chinese medicine therapy. On one hand, LIPUS relies on the mechanical biological effects of pulsed ultrasound to improve local microcirculation and promote vascular and nerve repair; on the other hand, the external herbal therapy soothes the liver, relieves qi stagnation and supports yang according to TCM syndrome differentiation. Together they offer a non-invasive, well-tolerated and readily accepted treatment option for patients with mild-to-moderate ED. Drawing on preliminary clinical observations, the lecture will explore the efficacy profile of the combined regimen, indications and individualized treatment pathways, providing practical references for integrated Chinese-Western medicine in the treatment of male sexual dysfunction.

The WBL LIPUS low-intensity pulsed ultrasound therapeutic device delivers low-energy pulsed ultrasound at 50–350 mW/cm². Relying on the mechanical biological effects of pulsed ultrasound, it avoids the risk of thermal injury and acts gently on the target tissue area: activating endogenous stem cells, improving local microcirculation, promoting the repair and regeneration of blood vessels and nerves, repairing damaged vascular endothelium and nerve matrix, and restoring corpus cavernosum tissue at the cellular level.
The Extracorporeal Pulsed-Ultrasound Pelvic-Floor Therapeutic Platform, also on display, targets male pelvic-floor-related conditions and uses the physical effects of pulsed ultrasound to support the repair of pelvic-floor tissues, further expanding non-invasive treatment options for male pelvic-floor disorders.
Also on site is the penile rigidity measurement device (JH-ED1100), which objectively quantifies and records erectile rigidity data, providing a precise basis for designing non-invasive treatment plans and evaluating outcomes.

WBL LIPUS technology was initiated and advocated by Academician Guo Yinglu of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and developed through years of international collaboration with the teams of Professor Tom F. Lue and Professor Guiting Lin at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and Professor Xin Zhongcheng's team at Peking University First Hospital. WBL's related technology has been featured on CCTV-12's "Science and Innovation China" program, and its product design won the international IDEA Design Award.

Today, WBL products cover multiple clinical scenarios including male pelvic floor and erectile dysfunction, with clinical applications in many tertiary hospitals, and a number of related research findings have been incorporated into domestic expert consensus documents and academic monographs.
