Starting from Androcourse 2026 in Singapore, WBL LIPUS Makes Its Debut on a Professional Andrology Platform in Southeast Asia
September 19–20, 2026 · Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, Singapore · Androcourse 2026
On September 19–20, WBL Medical Group presented its Low-Intensity Pulsed Ultrasound (LIPUS) technology at Androcourse 2026, hosted by the Society for Men’s Health Singapore (SMHS). Held at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, the event focused on three major themes: benign prostatic hyperplasia, sexual health, and healthy longevity in men. It also marked the first public appearance of WBL LIPUS at a professional academic event in Singapore.

01 Partner-Led Collaboration for This Important Debut
The booth and on-site arrangement were proactively undertaken by the Singapore distributor, who invited WBL to exhibit. For an innovative therapeutic platform still in the process of local registration, this was more than a product showcase — it reflected the partner’s confidence in the clinical positioning of LIPUS, its market potential, and future joint development.
On site, the WBL team gave a full demonstration of the LIPUS product operation, standardized treatment workflow, and patient communication logic in a realistic private-clinic setting. The Singapore distributor team likewise gained a clearer understanding of how to convey to physicians the technical differences between LIPUS and Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy (ESWT), the clinical pathways, and the commercial value.
02 Southeast Asian Physicians Look Forward to a New Outpatient Solution
Most of the attending physicians came from private clinics and men’s health service providers. In addition to participants from Singapore, professionals from markets such as Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Cambodia also joined the exchanges. Many physicians expressed clear interest in LIPUS and asked about its differences from shock wave therapy, the product’s local market timeline, and possibilities for future clinical collaboration.
The exchanges showed that many private clinics had been evaluating shock wave devices for men’s health services. As a low-intensity pulsed ultrasound platform, LIPUS delivers energy at a fixed depth, unfocused and standardized, offering physicians another outpatient treatment option centered on erectile dysfunction (ED). Physicians particularly valued its clinical evidence, patient comfort, replicable operating procedures, and the feasibility of integrating it into existing services.
03 Back to Clinical Fundamentals: Building a Differentiated Market Communication Logic
When physicians asked “Why choose LIPUS?”, the team did not simply position it as a replacement for shock wave therapy. Instead, the explanation centered on clinical problems, treatment experience, and practice scenarios: LIPUS and ESWT are different forms of energy; WBL has long focused on men’s health and the treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED), continuously accumulating basic research, clinical studies, and hospital application experience.
This communication approach, centered on physicians’ real needs, also helped the Singapore distributor team grasp the priorities of future market education: first establish key opinion leader (KOL) physicians and clinical experience, then gradually build a private-clinic implementation model through standardized training, case sharing, and patient management.

05 Anchoring on Singapore to Advance Registration and the Regional KOL Network
The direct outcome of this event was the first concentrated showcase of WBL LIPUS within Singapore’s professional andrology community, with cooperation intentions and market questions from multiple physicians handed over to the Singapore distributor team for follow-up. In the next phase, the two parties will jointly evaluate local private-clinic treatment pricing, KOL demonstration centers, and the first batch of clinical implementation models, while advancing registration with the Health Sciences Authority (HSA) of Singapore.
Subject to registration proceeding as planned, WBL expects to bring LIPUS into the Singapore market around mid-next year, using Singapore as a high-quality clinical demonstration and training hub to gradually reach Southeast Asian markets including Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Cambodia.

The WBL LIPUS Low-Intensity Pulsed Ultrasound therapeutic device: its core technologies have been validated in multiple clinical studies, its product design has won the international IDEA Design Award, and the device has been featured on CCTV-12’s “Science Innovation China” program. The device delivers low-intensity pulsed ultrasound at 50–350 mW/cm², gently acting on the corpus cavernosum area of the penis. It can activate the body’s own endogenous stem cells, improve local microcirculation, support the repair and regeneration of blood vessels and nerves, help restore damaged vascular endothelium and nerve matrix, support the repair of corpus cavernosum tissue at the cellular level, and assist in improving discomfort associated with erectile dysfunction.
The device is a non-invasive physical therapy device. Different from common clinical interventions such as oral medication, local injection, and surgical implantation, it adopts an extracorporeal physical therapy mode that requires no medication and no invasive procedures, helping to avoid bodily reactions caused by drug intake and the associated risks of invasive procedures, and providing a gentle physical therapy alternative for those in need.

Three Key Advantages
1. Non-invasive, Safe and Painless
No surgery or injection is required; treatment is delivered through an extracorporeal device, avoiding the risks and pain of traditional surgery.
2. Promotes Tissue Repair and Regeneration
Ultrasound can stimulate angiogenesis, improve local blood circulation, and promote the recovery of nerve function.
3. Significant and Lasting Efficacy
Clinical studies have shown that after multiple treatment sessions, patients’ erectile function scores improved significantly, with lasting and stable results.
