Following the 16th edition in Xiamen, WBL has once again been invited to exhibit with a standard booth (Booth D06), presenting WBL LIPUS technology and introducing the new direction of women's health to which LIPUS treatment is expanding. Colleagues in maternal and child health across the country are cordially invited to visit and exchange ideas.
The conference is hosted by the China Maternal and Child Health Association, organized by the Sichuan Provincial Maternal and Child Health Association, Sichuan Provincial Maternal and Child Health Hospital, and Chengdu Women's and Children's Central Hospital, with support from the United Nations Population Fund and UNICEF. More than one hundred renowned experts and scholars, including academicians, will deliver reports, jointly charting a new blueprint for the high-quality development of maternal and child health.
Conference Theme and Agenda
Under the theme "Warm Services for More Accessible and Quality Maternal and Child Health," the conference features one plenary hall and 29 sub-venues. The plenary hall will present keynote reports on maternal and child health policies, gynecologic oncology prevention and control, international frontiers of reproductive health, and the latest advances in related fields. The sub-venues cover whole-lifecycle women's health services, birth defect prevention, gynecologic endocrinology, AI-assisted care technologies, gynecologic urology and pelvic floor reconstruction, and more.
Agenda: October 15 — registration day, WBL Booth D06 ready; October 16 — opening ceremony and keynote reports in the morning, sub-venue sessions from the afternoon, Booth D06 open; October 17 — sub-venue sessions continue, Booth D06 open until the end of the conference. WBL Exhibition Booth
WBL's booth number is D06, a standard 3m × 3m booth located in the third-floor exhibition area of the convention center, adjacent to the Terrace Garden. In 2025, WBL attended the 16th conference in Xiamen and engaged in in-depth exchanges with peers nationwide. This year the conference moves to Chengdu, and WBL is once again bringing its innovative LIPUS treatment solutions to the front line of maternal and child health.

Featured: WBL LIPUS Technology

WBL LIPUS (low-intensity pulsed ultrasound) is an advanced physical therapy technology pioneered by Academician Guo Yinglu. WBL has carried out long-term industry-academia-research collaboration with Professor Tom Lue's team at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), Professor Xin Zhongcheng, and other leading urology and andrology experts, progressively completing clinical translation. The related equipment has entered multiple tertiary and prefecture-level hospitals in China as well as the King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital in Thailand. The product won the 2025 IDEA International Design Award, and the company was featured in the CCTV "Science and Innovation China" program for this technology.

In the pelvic floor direction, clinical exploration of WBL LIPUS continues to deepen. Chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome (CP/CPPS) is closely related to pelvic floor muscle tension, spasm, and neuromuscular dysfunction, remains a common clinical challenge, and represents an important direction for the continuous expansion of LIPUS treatment boundaries.
From men's health to women's health, the treatment boundaries of WBL LIPUS continue to expand. At this conference, WBL will present on site the latest progress of LIPUS technology and the exploratory ideas of its new direction in women's pelvic floor health. Colleagues interested in ultrasound physical therapy and women's health are cordially invited to visit Booth D06 for exchange and discussion.
Clinical Evidence: WBL LIPUS for CP/CPPS
A prospective randomized controlled study conducted by Professor Lü Bodong's team at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine in collaboration with the First People's Hospital of Pinghu and others — a head-to-head comparison of WBL LIPUS versus tamsulosin sustained-release capsules for the treatment of type IIIb chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome (CP/CPPS) — was published in December 2025 in the international journal Frontiers in Reproductive Health (2025, Vol. 7).
The study enrolled 65 randomized controlled participants; the standard WBL LIPUS regimen was 8 sessions over 4 weeks; after treatment, the pain score decreased by an average of 5.66 points; and 0 participants discontinued treatment due to adverse events.
A total of 65 patients were enrolled. The WBL LIPUS group (n=35) received treatment twice weekly, about 20 minutes per session, for a total of 8 sessions over 4 weeks. After 4 weeks of treatment, the WBL LIPUS group's pelvic pain score decreased from 11.26 to 5.60, an average reduction of 5.66 points, with an improvement significantly greater than that of the tamsulosin group (a reduction of 3.64 points, P<0.05). No serious adverse events requiring discontinuation occurred in either group. This study provides peer-reviewed clinical evidence for the application of WBL LIPUS in the pelvic floor and pelvic pain fields.
