From October 23 to 26, 2025, the 24th National Andrology Academic Conference of the Chinese Medical Association, hosted by the Chinese Medical Association and the Chinese Medical Association Andrology Branch, co-organized by the Chongqing Medical Association and the Chongqing Medical Association Andrology Branch, and undertaken by the Third Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University and the Eastern Theater Command General Hospital of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, will be grandly opened in Chongqing, the mountain city. The conference will be held at the Chongqing International Conference & Exhibition Center (Nanping), gathering experts and scholars in the field of andrology from home and abroad to explore the frontiers of the discipline and promote high-quality development in the industry.

The theme of this conference is “Focusing on Active Health and Empowering High-Quality Development of Andrology.” It will address hot and difficult issues in the field of andrology, covering basic research, clinical progress, academic frontiers, and multi-disciplinary integration and innovation. Through keynote speeches, thematic discussions, and other forms, the conference will deeply explore the pathogenesis, clinical diagnosis, and new treatment strategies for male diseases, providing participants with a high-level academic exchange platform.

On October 24, 2025, the second-floor lecture hall will host several exciting reports and speeches on the treatment of erectile dysfunction using low-intensity pulsed ultrasound (LIPUS), presenting the latest research and clinical practice results in this field.

At 10:15–10:30 AM, the conference will begin with the third keynote report. Professor Lü Bodong from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University Medical School will present “Safety and Efficacy of Low-Intensity Pulsed Ultrasound in the Treatment of Erectile Dysfunction (with 2000 Case Reports).” Based on large-scale clinical data, Professor Lü will deeply analyze the practical value of this innovative therapy, providing strong support for research in this area.

In the afternoon, several other thematic reports and speeches will be held. At 16:17–16:25, in the “Cross-Disciplinary Integration (I)” session in the second-floor lecture hall, Liu Yang from the Affiliated Hospital of Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine will give a paper presentation titled “Wireless-Controlled Ultrasound-Electrostimulation Nanopatches for Repairing Penile Nerve Injury: A New Cross-Border Treatment Paradigm.” This research, carried out by the team led by Professor Yang Yong and his collaborators at the hospital, represents an important achievement in the exploration of new treatment approaches for male health, opening new pathways for male health treatment.

At 17:38–17:46, in the “Male Nursing (III)” session in the second-floor lecture hall 302, therapist Meng Yi from Shanghai Family Planning Institute Hospital will present the paper “Long-Term Efficacy and Safety of Different Frequency Low-Intensity Pulsed Ultrasound (LIPUS) in the Treatment of Mild to Moderate Erectile Dysfunction.” Meng’s research, which focuses on different frequency treatments, will further enrich our understanding of LIPUS therapy for erectile dysfunction.

Immediately following this, at 17:46–17:54, in the “Male Sexual Dysfunction (IV)” session in the second-floor lecture hall 202, Professor Xu Zhipeng from the Second Hospital of Ningbo Yinzhou District will present the paper “Clinical Efficacy of Moxibustion Combined with Low-Intensity Pulsed Ultrasound (LIPUS) and Low-Dose Tadalafil for Erectile Dysfunction.” Professor Xu’s research provides a new approach for the treatment of erectile dysfunction by combining traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine, offering valuable insights for the attendees.
