WBL Partners with Indonesia to Create a New Model for Urological Health in Southeast Asia, Building the Asia-Pacific LIPUS Clinical Center and High-End Medical Network

From April 10th to 17th, 2025, Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce Mr. Liky and Mr. Rudy Surjanto (USGH/President Director), accompanied by Mr. Weng Zhihong, Vice General Manager of WBL Medical Technology and his team, visited the company’s factories and partner hospitals in Nanjing, Shanghai, and Chongqing. The two sides engaged in in-depth cooperation discussions, aiming to jointly advance the application of WBL's LIPUS technology in the treatment of male dysfunction. They also planned the strategic layout for the Bali International Medical Center and chain urology clinics across Indonesia. This collaboration is designed to integrate WBL’s innovative medical technology with Indonesia’s high-quality healthcare resources to establish a leading urological health center in the Asia-Pacific region.

Bali International Medical Center: A New Landmark for High-End Medical Care in the Asia-Pacific Region

Location: Bali Sanur Special Economic Zone (SEZ), covering 5038㎡, with a total construction area of 10,000㎡, expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2025.

This center will be Indonesia’s first comprehensive medical aesthetics and male urology center and plans to introduce WBL’s latest generation LIPUS A-model and HA100 series equipment, aiming to create:

 

1.An internationally standard male dysfunction diagnosis and treatment center

2.An innovative prostate disease treatment specialty

3.A high-end medical aesthetics and anti-aging center

4.A multilingual VIP medical service system (Chinese/English/Korean)

 

Thanks to the policy advantages of Bali’s special economic zone, the cooperation is expected to be rapidly implemented with strong support from the local government, ensuring the smooth progress of the project.

 

Urology Clinic Chain Layout Across Indonesia

WBL has signed a joint venture agreement with Indonesian partners and plans to establish eight urology specialty clinics focusing on erectile dysfunction (ED) treatment within the next year. The clinics will feature LIPUS non-drug physical therapy, combining private medical care and minimally invasive treatments. WBL will provide:

1.The Bali Medical Center will serve as the Asia-Pacific clinical research base for WBL’s LIPUS technology, focusing on frontier topics such as stem cell combined with LIPUS therapy and accumulating clinical data from Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Additionally, the center will be a product showcase and doctor training base for WBL, attracting high-end medical tourism clientele from Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, and other regions.


2.WBL plans to launch a co-branded partnership with BMI (BMI × WBL) and will further enhance its market presence through media exposure and international medical tourism promotion, helping upgrade male health care in Southeast Asia.

 

3. Through this strong partnership with Indonesian counterparts, WBL will further solidify its strategic layout in the Asia-Pacific market. By focusing on innovative LIPUS technology and leveraging Bali’s unique geographical advantage and Indonesia’s local resources, WBL aims to comprehensively enhance the region’s male health services and contribute to making Indonesia a key destination for medical tourism in Southeast Asia and globally.
