From April 10th to 13th, 2025, the annual event in the field of Asia-Pacific sexual and reproductive medicine—the Asia-Pacific Sexual and Reproductive Medicine Conference and the 20th APSSM Academic Meeting—will be held in Nanjing, alongside the 18th National Congress on Sexual Medicine. This academic feast, bringing together global experts and cutting-edge research, will draw much attention from the industry.

The Asia-Pacific Society for Sexual Medicine, the world’s first established professional organization in sexual medicine, has witnessed Asia’s outstanding contributions in the field and plays a crucial role in the global sexual health movement. The biennial Asia-Pacific Sexual Medicine Conference brings together international experts in sexual medicine and andrology from around the world, including the Asia-Pacific region, to discuss cutting-edge academic topics. In 2025, this academic event will open in Nanjing. Simultaneously, the 18th National Congress on Sexual Medicine and the 18th Jinling Sexual Medicine Conference will also take place.
Expert Lectures
At this highly anticipated conference, many distinguished experts in China’s sexual medicine field will gather to engage in in-depth discussions on WBL’s LIPUS ultrasound technology, bringing cutting-edge academic achievements and new directions in clinical applications for global male reproductive health.
Professor Xin Zhongcheng, former Director of the Andrology Center at Peking University First Hospital and now a professor at Tianjin Medical University Second Hospital, will share his insights on “The Development Experience and Clinical Application of Low-Intensity Pulsed Ultrasound (LIPUS) in Treating Erectile Dysfunction,” based on WBL’s self-developed LIPUS ultrasound therapy system. His lecture, scheduled for April 11th (Friday) from 16:10 to 16:25, will highlight LIPUS technology's transition from development to clinical application, leveraging his rich practical experience and deep academic foundation.
Professor Dai Yutian, Head of the Andrology Department at the Affiliated Drum Tower Hospital of Nanjing University Medical School, a sexual medicine authority, will give a systematic and in-depth presentation on the “Research Progress of Mechanisms of LIPUS in Treating Erectile Dysfunction,” on April 12th (Saturday) from 14:35 to 14:50. This lecture will explain the scientific principles and development of this technology.
Dr. Liu Lei, Associate Chief Physician of the Urology Department at Zunyi First People’s Hospital, will also join this academic feast, presenting on “The Combination of Vardenafil and Low-Intensity Pulsed Ultrasound (LIPUS) in Treating Erectile Dysfunction (ED)” on April 12th (Saturday) from 14:35 to 14:50. The presentation will explore innovative breakthroughs in combination treatment models, offering diverse clinical treatment perspectives.
Lin Fei, Head Nurse at Ningbo Urology Kidney Disease Hospital, will deliver a presentation on “Application Research of Moxibustion Combined with Low-Intensity Pulsed Ultrasound for Treating Male Erectile Dysfunction” on April 13th (Sunday) from 10:20 to 10:30. This lecture will integrate traditional moxibustion therapy with modern LIPUS technology, uncovering the huge potential of combining Western and Traditional Chinese Medicine in male health.
These four academic leaders will present a comprehensive, multi-dimensional view of WBL’s academic excellence and technological depth in energy medicine.
