From March 28 to 29, 2025, Professor Xin Zhongcheng, former director of the Andrology Center at Peking University First Hospital and currently the director of the Andrology Sub-specialty in the Department of Urology at Tianjin Medical University Second Hospital, was invited to attend the "Asia-Pacific Sexual Medicine Conference and Korean Sexual Medicine and Andrology Forum" held at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea.
As one of the leading figures in andrology research, Professor Xin Zhongcheng was sincerely invited by the organizers to bring core achievements from the WBL International Joint Laboratory to this academic exchange conference. At the conference, based on the LIPUS ultrasound therapy system independently developed by WBL, Professor Xin Zhongcheng delivered an in-depth and forward-looking keynote speech. He focused on the key topic of low-intensity pulsed ultrasound (LIPUS) treatment for erectile dysfunction (ED), starting with the initial development inspiration for the technology. He elaborated on the technical challenges overcome in the laboratory, how repeated experiments and optimizations achieved precise control of ultrasound parameters to balance both efficient treatment and safety.
WBL Medical Device Co., Ltd. is the pioneer of LIPUS technology.
