In early December 2024, Luzhou Second People's Hospital officially launched the "LIPUS Low-Intensity Pulsed Ultrasound ED Cabin," developed by Beijing WBL Medical Instrument Co., Ltd. This marks the beginning of a new era of non-invasive and precise treatment for male health in the southern Sichuan region. The innovative device uses low-intensity pulsed ultrasound (LIPUS) technology to provide a safe and effective treatment option for patients with mild to moderate erectile dysfunction (ED).

LIPUS Technology Principle and Treatment Effect

血管修复全.png

The core mechanism of LIPUS is to use low-energy pulsed ultrasound (intensity range 50-350mW/CM²) to act on the erectile tissue of the penis, activating endogenous stem cells and promoting the regeneration of blood vessels and nerves, repairing damaged vascular endothelium and nerve matrix, thus improving erectile function at the pathological level. Compared with traditional oral medications (such as PDE5 inhibitors), prosthetic implants, or invasive therapies (such as corporal injections), LIPUS does not rely on drugs or surgery, avoiding side effects and the inconvenience of repeated treatments, achieving the goal of "treating both the symptoms and the cause."

Product Treatment Process and Operation Guide

The WBL WBL-ED treatment system consists of a main device, treatment software, ultrasound treatment heads (ED-ZLT-Y, ED-ZLT-F models), and matching rubber protective sleeves (ED-MHT-Y, ED-MHT-F models). The operation process is highly standardized:

1.Patient Preparation:

The patient enters the private-designed "ED Cabin," where a VR panoramic system and psychological counseling help relieve anxiety.

2.Device Positioning:

The ultrasound treatment head is precisely applied to the erectile tissue area of the penis, with sound intensity parameters adjusted through software (typically 50-350mW/CM²).

3.Treatment Implementation:

Each treatment lasts approximately 20 minutes, with 2-3 sessions per week for a total of 4 weeks per course. During the treatment, ultrasound waves transmit mechanical forces to promote tissue repair, with no pain or discomfort for the patient.

4.Effect Evaluation:

After the treatment course, the improvement in erectile function is quantitatively assessed using WBL self-developed hardness measuring instrument (such as the JH-ED1100).

Competitive Advantages of WBL LIPUS

Compared with traditional ED therapies and similar products, WBL LIPUS has the following advantages:

1.Non-Invasive and Safe:

No need for medication or surgery, avoiding liver and kidney burden, as well as infection risks, especially for patients with chronic conditions (such as diabetes).

2..Comprehensive Treatment Mode:

The unique "LIPUS + Psychological Counseling + VR" multi-dimensional treatment addresses both physiologica2.repair and psychological intervention, improving patient satisfaction by over 30%.

3.Clinical Data Support:

Based on clinical validation from over 60 medical institutions worldwide, its efficacy and safety are endorsed by authoritative institutions such as UCSF in the U.S. and Peking University Hospital.

4.Long-Term Cost Advantage:

The cost of a single treatment is only one-third of traditional medications, and there is no long-term dependence, reducing the economic burden on patients.

The promotion of WBL LIPUS technology not only provides a revolutionary solution for ED patients but also drives the development of micro-energy medicine as a discipline. The implementation case at Luzhou Second People's Hospital will further promote regional medical technology upgrades and contribute to the realization of the "Healthy China" strategy. In the future, with the accumulation of more clinical data and the optimization of treatment protocols, LIPUS is expected to become the "gold standard" in the global ED treatment field.
