Cutting-edge Technology Takes Shape

 Non-invasive Diagnosis and Treatment Upgraded

WBL LIPUS Therapy Chamber

On June 15, 2025, China’s first specialized research institution focusing on micro-energy medicine, the Peking University Institute of Urology Energy Medicine Research Center, was officially inaugurated, marking a breakthrough in China’s leadership in this frontier field.  The ceremony was attended by Professor Lü Futai from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), Professor Jiang Hui, Party Secretary of Peking University First Hospital, and Mr. Guo Mao, Chairman of Beijing WBL Medical Group. These three industry leaders witnessed this historic moment together, officially unveiling the center and solidifying a key milestone for the industrialization of micro-energy medicine in China.  At the same time, the LIPUS Clinical Research and Application Cooperation Center was established, led by distinguished experts including Lü Futai, Jiang Hui, and Xia Shujie. The center focuses on the clinical translation and standardized application of Low-Intensity Pulsed Ultrasound (LIPUS) technology, acting as a bridge to bring cutting-edge research into practical clinical use.  This initiative follows the visionary insights of Academician Guo Yinglu, a prominent figure in Chinese urology, who remarked, “Non-invasive energy medicine is the third revolution in life sciences.” The collaboration among these institutions represents a strong commitment to realizing this concept in practice.

One year later, driven by deep integration between research and industry, Peking University First Hospital officially introduced the WBL LIPUS Low-Intensity Pulsed Ultrasound ED Therapy Chamber, transforming the research outcomes of energy medicine into practical diagnostic and treatment services for patients.

Founded in 1915, Peking University First Hospital is a large-scale tertiary Grade A comprehensive hospital integrating medical care, education, research, and prevention. Its clinical medicine programs have been included in China’s "Double First-Class" initiative. Upholding its motto of “Virtue and Integrity in Medicine”, the hospital aims to set the standard for healthcare services.  The introduction of the WBL LIPUS technology represents an important development in the hospital's non-invasive medical services, further enhancing its “precise diagnosis + non-invasive treatment” comprehensive treatment system. This brings new momentum to the innovation of technologies and service optimization in men's health.

Ultrasound Technology for Tissue Repair

WBL LIPUS (Low-Intensity Pulsed Ultrasound Therapy Device) is a non-invasive physical therapy system. Its core mechanism involves using specific low-intensity pulsed ultrasound parameters to gently stimulate the penile corpus cavernosum, improving microcirculation and promoting tissue regeneration at the cellular level. This process helps improve erectile function and address its underlying pathology.

The device is now officially in use at the andrology department of Peking University First Hospital, providing standardized treatment services to patients.

1.Non-invasive and Safe:

No medications or surgery are required, reducing the risks of liver/kidney strain and infection. It is particularly suitable for patients with chronic conditions like diabetes.

2.Comprehensive Treatment Approach:

The therapy integrates LIPUS treatment, psychological counseling, and VR relaxation experiences, addressing both physical recovery and mental wellbeing, enhancing overall treatment effectiveness and patient satisfaction.

3.Clinically Validated:

The technology has been validated in over 60 leading medical institutions worldwide. Its efficacy and safety have been recognized by clinical authorities such as UCSF and Peking University First Hospital, establishing a solid evidence-based medical data support system.
