LIPUS (Low-Intensity Pulsed Ultrasound) is a non-invasive physical therapy technology that precisely regulates the repair and regeneration process of tissues through mechanical, thermal, and cavitation effects. It has demonstrated significant efficacy in areas such as erectile dysfunction (ED) and chronic pelvic pain syndrome (CPPS). The establishment of this licensed center aims to integrate resources across academia and industry, promote standardized application of LIPUS technology, and facilitate multi-center studies, guiding China's male health management towards precision and personalization.

Several professors participating in the licensing ceremony are recognized as academic promoters and practical pioneers of LIPUS technology. Among them, Professor Liu Jihong, Vice Chairman of the Men's Health Branch of the Chinese Medical Association; Professor Lü Baodong, Chairman of the Urology Men's Health Committee; and Professor Li Zheng, Director of the Men's Health Center at the First People's Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University, have long been engaged in male health research. They have shared LIPUS research achievements at national academic conferences, laying the foundation for the technology's popularization and standardized application:

Professor Liu Jihong: As Vice Chairman of the Men's Health Branch, his team was the first to conduct a multi-center randomized controlled trial (RCT) on LIPUS treatment for ED, confirming its efficacy and safety. Relevant results were published in esteemed journals such as the "Asian Journal of Andrology" and included in the "Diagnosis Guidelines for Male Urogenital Diseases in China."

Professor Lü Baodong: In treating chronic prostate diseases, he proposed an integrative plan of "LIPUS combined with traditional Chinese external treatment," verifying its synergistic enhancement through clinical observations. His research has received funding from the National Natural Science Foundation and has been presented at international urology conferences.

Professor Li Zheng: A leading figure in male reproductive health, he focuses on investigating the mechanisms by which LIPUS facilitates the recovery of testicular function, revealing molecular pathways for improving spermatogenesis through stem cell differentiation, thereby offering new insights for treating male infertility.
