From November 28 to 30, 2025, the 12th Annual Academic Conference of the Andrology and Sexual Medicine Physicians Branch of the Chinese Medical Association was held at the Nanjiao Hotel in Jinan, Shandong. The conference was organized by the Chinese Medical Association and its Andrology and Sexual Medicine Physicians Branch, with the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University and Qilu Hospital of Shandong University as the co-organizers. The event gathered top experts, scholars, and clinical physicians in the fields of andrology and sexual medicine from both China and abroad to discuss the latest developments and innovative technological applications in the discipline. During the conference, Professor Xia Shujie from the First Affiliated Hospital of Shanghai Jiao Tong University’s School of Medicine delivered a keynote speech, and WBL Company unveiled its LIPUS series of innovative products, drawing significant attention and offering new perspectives and solutions to the industry.

LIPUS Technology Solves the Treatment Dilemma of LOH

At the main forum, Professor Xia Shujie from the First Affiliated Hospital of Shanghai Jiao Tong University gave a presentation titled "Molecular Mechanism and Clinical Observations of LIPUS in the Treatment of LOH," providing an in-depth analysis of the breakthrough application of low-intensity pulsed ultrasound (LIPUS) in the treatment of late-onset hypogonadism (LOH). Professor Xia emphasized that LOH, a male aging-related disease, is primarily caused by a decline in testosterone levels, dysfunction of the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis, and oxidative stress damage. LIPUS, through its non-invasive biological stimulation, can precisely regulate the function of testicular interstitial cells, promote testosterone synthesis, improve the testicular microenvironment, and inhibit cell apoptosis, offering a safe and effective treatment option for LOH patients. Clinical observations have shown that LIPUS treatment significantly enhances serum testosterone levels, improves sexual function scores, and enhances quality of life, with no risk of drug side effects. Professor Xia's speech sparked lively discussions among the attending experts, who unanimously agreed that this technology opens up new paths for male health management.

LIPUS Technology Empowers Full-Scene Diagnosis and Treatment

During the conference, WBL Company showcased its LIPUS series of innovative products at its exhibition booth, becoming one of the focal points due to its advanced technological concepts and rich clinical application scenarios.
Several authoritative experts in the field visited the WBL booth, including Professor Li Zheng from the First Affiliated Hospital of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine and Professor Song Lujie from the Sixth People's Hospital of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine.
During a group photo, Professor Li Zheng highly praised WBL's innovative practices, not only commending the company for its dedication to the andrology field and its efforts to benefit male health but also expressing his hopes for the company to continue deepening technological innovation and releasing more high-quality products that meet clinical needs.

Following this, Professor Xia Shujie from the First Affiliated Hospital of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Professor Liang Chaochao from the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University, and Professor Zhang Bo from the Tangdu Hospital of the Air Force Medical University, along with other leaders from the society, visited the booth. They had an in-depth exchange with the company's team and took a group photo. The experts focused on WBL's newly launched extracorporeal pulsed ultrasound pelvic floor treatment platform, recognizing its technological approach to addressing pelvic floor dysfunction and expressing hopes for its faster clinical promotion. They emphasized that the platform’s non-invasive and precise core advantages could significantly contribute to the standardized diagnosis and treatment of pelvic floor diseases and improve patients' quality of life. The group also discussed the broader clinical application prospects of LIPUS technology and product optimization.

Extracorporeal Pulsed Ultrasound Pelvic Floor Treatment Platform

This platform is based on the biological stimulation of extracorporeal pulsed ultrasound, which precisely targets the treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction diseases. Through the targeted delivery of ultrasound energy, it effectively promotes the contraction and repair of pelvic floor muscles, enhances pelvic floor support, and improves pelvic tissue function at the pathological level. Clinical applications have shown that this platform significantly improves symptoms of female stress urinary incontinence and other common pelvic floor diseases, enhancing the patients' quality of life. Compared with traditional treatment methods, the platform offers non-invasive, precise, and safe advantages, providing a new choice for the standardized treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction diseases.
Portable Low-Intensity Pulsed Ultrasound Device

As the core product of LIPUS technology, the portable low-intensity pulsed ultrasound device (model WBL-ED-BX) has been widely recognized by on-site physicians for its non-invasive, portable, and efficient core advantages. The device is specifically designed for the diagnosis and treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED). Its core mechanism involves applying low-energy pulsed ultrasound to the cavernous tissue of the penis, activating endogenous stem cells, promoting blood vessel and nerve regeneration, and repairing damaged vascular endothelium and nerve matrices, thereby improving erectile function at its source.
LIPUS.COM International Platform Open for Sharing
To accelerate the global promotion and clinical application of LIPUS technology, WBL officially launched its international website, LIPUS.COM. The website provides multilingual versions of technical white papers, clinical case databases, and global partner institutions. The site also opens a technical resource center, where users can download internationally recognized research papers, clinical guidelines, and expert consensus documents related to LIPUS, which will support clinical decision-making and scientific research innovation.
By scanning the QR code, users can access real-time information on certified medical institutions worldwide, participate in multicenter clinical trial projects, and view training videos and standardized diagnostic manuals for device operation, thereby promoting the standardized application of the technology and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Technology-Driven High-Quality Development of Andrology Medicine
The success of this year’s conference not only showcased the latest achievements in China’s andrology and sexual medicine fields but also highlighted the importance of collaborative innovation between industry, academia, and research. Professor Xia Shujie's presentation and the launch of WBL's LIPUS series products mark China’s entry into the international forefront of male health technology. In the future, as LIPUS technology continues to be promoted, its application scenarios will expand to reproductive health, chronic pain management, and other fields, providing more personalized and precise solutions for patients.
