Conference Agenda | The 16th Maternal and Child Health Development Conference Concludes Successfully, WBL Leads the New Paradigm in Maternal and Child Health with Low-Intensity Pulsed Ultrasound Technology
Date:2025-12-02 Redact:WBL

From November 27 to 30, 2025, the 16th Maternal and Child Health Development Conference successfully concluded in Xiamen, Fujian Province. As the highest-level and most influential event in the maternal and child health sector, this year's conference focused on the theme "Comprehensively Implementing the 'One Law, Two Guidelines' and the Healthy China Strategy, Promoting High-Quality Development of Maternal and Child Health." It gathered top global experts, scholars, and industry leaders to discuss the latest trends and innovative practices in maternal and child health. During the conference, WBL became one of the highlights with its self-developed low-intensity pulsed ultrasound technology (LIPUS) and all-scenario solutions, showcasing the innovative power of Chinese medical technology to the world.

Technological Breakthrough

LIPUS Series Wins Top International Design Honors

Core Application Featured on CCTV as a Benchmark Case

As an innovator in the maternal and child health field, WBL has always been committed to the mission of "empowering health with technology," focusing on the research and application of low-intensity pulsed ultrasound technology (LIPUS). This technology, using non-invasive, low-energy ultrasound pulses, targets deep tissues in the body, activating cell repair mechanisms and offering safe and effective treatment options for common health issues in women, such as pelvic floor dysfunction and stress urinary incontinence. To further promote the global adoption of LIPUS technology, WBL launched the LIPUS.COM international website platform, providing multilingual services, technical education, clinical case sharing, and global cooperation opportunities, creating a bridge between Chinese innovation and worldwide needs.

Its core product, the LIPUS series treatment equipment, won top honors in international design— the IDEA Award (International Design Excellence Award), marking China's medical devices as world leaders in both design aesthetics and functional innovation. At the same time, the non-invasive treatment system based on LIPUS technology became the industry focus with its "revolutionary innovation," earning a place in CCTV12's "Science and Technology China" program. It became the first medical industry case to be featured for its low-intensity pulsed ultrasound technology, demonstrating China's leap from "follower" to "leader" in medical technology.

This platform uses low-intensity pulsed ultrasound to precisely target the pelvic floor muscles, stimulating deep tissue repair to achieve non-invasive, painless, and efficient treatment. It offers a safer, more comfortable rehabilitation option for postpartum women and elderly patients. Clinical data shows that the platform significantly enhances pelvic floor strength, improves urinary incontinence symptoms, with a patient satisfaction rate exceeding 98%.

Stress Urinary Incontinence

Specifically developed for women with stress urinary incontinence, this system integrates LIPUS technology with intelligent algorithms, providing customized treatment plans for targeted therapy. Its clinical cure rate is internationally leading. Unlike traditional non-invasive treatments, it uses low-intensity pulsed ultrasound for gentle precision, avoiding the pain of surgery, significantly reducing infection risks, and enabling faster recovery. As a non-invasive therapy, it is safe and convenient, working intermittently on the perineum and vaginal areas, maximizing the conversion of mechanical effects into biological effects to achieve the therapeutic goal.

The Future Is Here, WBL Walks with You

The successful conclusion of the 16th Maternal and Child Health Development Conference marks the beginning of a new phase of high-quality development in maternal and child health. WBL will use this event as a starting point to continue focusing on low-intensity pulsed ultrasound technology, deepen the "industry-university-research-medical" collaborative innovation model, accelerate the transformation of scientific achievements, and provide more "China solutions" for the global maternal and child health sector. This will help achieve the grand goals of "Healthy China" and the human health community.
